Commercial Energy Opportunity Review

Could your commercial site reduce its electricity costs?

Explore solar, battery storage and energy-management options around your site’s electricity use, available space and future plans. Start with a Commercial Energy Opportunity Review.

Explore my site’s energy options

A site-specific starting point. No bill upload needed to express interest.

What you could explore

Three practical outcomes to work towards.

The right approach depends on the site. The review starts with possible options, rather than a promised saving or a pre-selected system.

01 / ELECTRICITY COSTS

Lower purchased-electricity costs

Explore whether using less grid electricity or managing when you use it could reduce your costs.

02 / ONSITE OPTIONS

Suitable generation and storage

Consider whether solar PV, battery storage or energy-management changes fit your operations and available space.

03 / COMMERCIAL CLARITY

Clearer investment or funding options

Understand which routes may be worth assessing, with site-specific costs, responsibilities and terms.

Different operations. The same starting point.

Begin with what your business needs.

Choose the closest sector to pre-select it in the demonstration form. Suitability comes from your site and electricity use, rather than the sector label alone.

Food production and cold storage

Explore electricity demand from processing, refrigeration and cold-chain operations, including when loads run.

Explore food & cold storage

Manufacturing

Look at production loads, shift patterns and shutdowns alongside the space and permissions at your site.

Explore manufacturing

Retail and commercial estates

Establish who uses the electricity, controls the space and can agree changes across one site or an estate.

What makes a site suitable?

The details matter more than a headline bill.

You do not need every answer before starting. Share what you know and select “Not sure” where helpful.

An enquiry starts a review. It is not an engineering assessment, quotation or appointment.

  • Electricity use and operating hoursHow much electricity is used, and when.
  • Usable roof, land or parkingAvailable space and its practical constraints.
  • Ownership or lease permissionsWho can authorise site changes and ongoing arrangements.
  • Site condition and future plansBuilding condition, operational changes or a possible move.

A considered next step

From initial interest to an agreed way forward.

Share initial details

Tell us about the business, site and main priority. Detailed bills can follow through an agreed channel if needed.

Review the site and priorities

The intended route is an initial review by Damian, followed by technical and sales assessment with Craig where appropriate.

Agree the right next step

Discuss an appropriate assessment or conversation, including its scope and any terms, before committing.

Investment and funding

Explore a route that fits the project.

Self-funded investment or suitable funded options may be considered. Availability, payments, ownership and responsibilities depend on site assessment and commercial agreement. Funding is not guaranteed, and this review does not promise zero upfront cost or a particular saving.

Start the conversation

Explore your site’s energy options.

Begin with a few business and site details. The short second step is optional.

The first review concerns electricity. Gas, heat and other energy needs require their own assessment.

Review mode

Use invented details and an example.com email. Live capture is not enabled while enquiry privacy information is awaiting approval.

Questions before you start

A few useful distinctions.

Can we enquire if we lease the site?

Yes. Tell us your lease position even if permissions have not been checked. Any project would need the appropriate approvals and an arrangement that works for the occupier and property owner.

Are funded options available to every business?

No. Suitable funding depends on the site, the proposed project and agreed commercial terms. Availability, charges and responsibilities must be confirmed. There is no universal zero-upfront-cost offer on this page.

Does every site need a battery?

No. Battery suitability depends on electricity use, tariffs, the proposed system and operating needs. Storage needs its own assessment. Solar panels and a standard battery system do not automatically provide backup during an outage; that requires a suitable system design.

What information do I need to begin?

Business and contact details, a site postcode and the closest sector are enough to start an enquiry once capture is enabled. Electricity spend or usage, operating hours and site-control information can help later. You do not need to upload a bill to express interest.

Can this review estimate our savings or replace a site assessment?

No. This page introduces an initial review. Any system proposal, saving estimate or funding arrangement needs appropriate site and electricity information. It does not offer a universal calculator or guarantee an outcome.

What about gas, heat and other energy costs?

This starting point focuses on electricity. Solar PV generates electricity; it does not directly replace gas or process heat. Heating, hot water and other fuels need separate assessment, including how they interact with the site's electricity demand.
